Frequently Asked Questions By Our Customers

To make an informed decision, it is essential to ask the right questions before hiring a roofing contractor. Our potential customers often ask:

Are you licensed and insured?

It is extremely important to hire a roofing contractor who is licensed and insured. A license ensures that the contractor has met the necessary requirements and has the knowledge and skills to perform the job correctly. Insurance protects you from liability in case of any accidents or damages that may occur during the project. Watertight Roofing Services is fully licensed and insured in the State of Florida.

How long have you been in business?

Experience matters when it comes to roofing. A contractor with a long-standing reputation is likely to have a better understanding of different roofing systems and be well-equipped to handle any challenges that may arise during the project. Watertight Roofing Services has been in business since 2009, but its owners have more than 30 years combined experience in the construction and roofing industries.

What type of roofing materials do you recommend?

Watertight Roofing Services uses the highest-quality materials by GAF, an industry leader in roofing systems. Your salesperson will guide you on the different types of roofing materials available and recommend the best option based on your budget and aesthetic preferences.

Do you offer warranties?

Warranties provide peace of mind and protect you from any defects or issues that may arise after the completion of the project. GAF warranties are considered the best in the industry. Your salesperson will explain the various warranty options available.

Can you provide a detailed estimate?

We always provide a detailed and completely transparent written estimate for all our projects. Your salesperson will be your point of contact for any questions or issues you may have.

Will you obtain the necessary permits?

Watertight Roofing Services strictly complies with all city and county regulations within our service areas. We will handle all needed permits and paperwork on your behalf.

What safety measures do you have in place?

The safety of our roofing crews is very important to us. All our crews are provided with appropriate roofing safety gear. We also do not permit any work to be performed during adverse weather conditions.

How do you handle clean-up?

Watertight Roofing Services provides dumpsters for material waste disposal throughout the job. Dumpsters and any leftover materials will be promptly removed upon completion of the job. Crews are required to inspect and clear out downspouts and gutters as well as comb all areas around the home with magnetic devices that collect stray roofing nails and other metal objects that may have gone undetected.

What is your payment policy?

Watertight Roofing Services never asks for payment upfront to begin your roofing project. An invoice is emailed to the customer once the job is completed and all inspections are signed off. Payment instructions are included in the email.
